Expecting Guests

Today, we are eagerly anticipating a visit from Cliff's son Rob and his wife Julie and their 5 month old baby, Kairie. They are driving down from Reno today and will be here for a couple of days. We last saw Kairie in August right after she was born so we are really excited to see how much she has grown. Cliff has plans to spoil her and I am just trying to get used to the idea of being a grandmother!

After a lovely two weeks off, I have to go back to work tomorrow and face the daunting prospect of moving into a new classroom. I have a lot of my room packed up thanks to my 4 amazing TA's but there is tstill more to do. Then there is the unpacking and figuring out where to put things and coming up with new routines. This week a new Bible study starts up at our house and next week, I begin leading worship for the ALPHA class at my church. Stay tuned for pictures of the grandbaby and my new room.

Happy New Year

Depending on which member of the Hutsell family you ask, today was either a great day or a sad day. As Sally is a Penn State alumni, she is very sad because Penn State lost to USC in the Rose Bowl. Cliff, as a huge fan of USC is very happy. We invited friends over to keep us from killing each other over the outcome and a fun time was had by all. We are new to the blogging experience but we look forward to sharing lots more as the year goes by.
